A portion of the farm Driekoppen was fenced off with top quality game fencing and now offers an impressive collection of game species on view. Great care was taken in the selection of the species and their respective numbers as prospects of co-habitation between species and their particular grazing needs had to be catered for.

Because of the sensitivity of the ecology in the area, guided game drives are available by prior arrangement with management. We however regret that we do not endorse the use of own motorized vehicles including that of quad bikes on the property.
As the images on the web page indicate, game viewing is best done by following the dedicated game viewing hiking trails and horse riding trails, as non motorized viewing of the game encourages our animals to get used to the noiseless presence of humans. This makes it possible to get closer to the animals, and that makes great photo opportunities. Future plans include introduction of the “magnificent seven” species of antelope, as well as hippo, which can be viewed safely from outside their dedicated enclosure.

Limited daily game viewing drives, consisting of pre-booked daytime and night viewing drives are offered by prior arrangement with management. As we follow a strict code of conduct to be as unobtrusive on the habitat of the species and wish to intrude as little as possible on the natural state of the game species available to view, private vehicles are not allowed to view the game species.
